Plein Air Workshop

    Workshop with Jim Pederson  June 7.  Will take place at Chataugua Park where there are     facilities and many views.  Will work with all mediums.  Price is $35 for members.  $45 for     non-members.  Limited to 12. Workshop is 9:-2.  Carpooling can be arranged.


Frame Shop Trip:

    Tues. June 19 trip to Creative Framing in Louisville.  Meet at the church for car pooling. Leave     Broomfield at 11:30.  This will give time for lunch.  Meet at the shop at 1:00, if you don’t want to     go to lunch.  First 12 members accepted.  If too many sign up we can schedule a second trip.    Free


1 x 1 Show 

    September 13-27. Margretta Perry will  be chairman and Gerry Case Co-Chair.  Prospectus will    be out next month.

Bring a piece of art for the mini show.

            Mini Art Sale

Ten Guild artists sold their art in Library Lobby May 3 and 4.  Sales were very good and the Guild made money selling baked goods.

Sale included small artworks, cards, book marks, magnets, jewelry, prints, etc.

It was an opportunity to purchase real art at bargin prices

                New Rules

    for Participating in Events

You must be a paid member by September1 each year to participate in the   member show.

After September dues will be pro-rated but participation in   shows will not begin until the next year.

To participate in shows each  member must volunteer to help with at least one event.

        Examples of jobs includes sitting show, helping with refreshments,  hanging shows, help with sales, helping demonstrator, setting up chairs for  meeting and and putting them away, signing up Broomfield Businesses fo
